Elon Musk claims to increase the company's production capacity to 20,000 units of cars as of December this year. Currently there are more than 450,000 Model 3 orders and the company promises to accelerate the production process.
Model 3 is the cheapest version of a number of variants of electric cars made by Tesla. However, its presence is highly anticipated by potential customers because this car brings the latest technological improvisations such as autonomous steering systems, high acceleration, and quite a long distance, and super minimalist interior.
"We put a lot of effort into the design of this car. "I'm not sure you can find a more attractive car at this price point," Musk said at the launch.
Model 3 itself is available in two versions, the Standard and the higher Long Range. Here are the details of both specifications:
Beyond the basic features Tesla offers upgrade options for certain components, for example audio systems, LED smoke lights, to heaters in the seat. The company offered Rp 13 million pre-orders for those interested, but they stressed that due to the high demand, most new orders will be sent next year.
